Why was Jeffrey epstein arrested when he didn’t do anything in this country ?

He was outside the USA on hiscown private island that he owned, basically his own country 


I mean his island isn’t part of the USA and is in international waters

    Let me get this straight ... you're suggesting illegal extradition. I think it's far more likely his contesting extradition would have been publicized than your suggestion.

    The charges were for crimes committed in Florida and New York. But his island is in a US territory so any charges arising from activities there would have also fallen under US jurisdiction.

    "Private" doesn't mean "its own country."

    No, really.  His private island is in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and is a part of the United States.  It is emphatically NOT in "international waters."
