# The soaps resulting motion will be?

A bar of soap mass 5kg is on a table. A person pushes the bar of soap with a gentle 2-Newton force. The table is a frictionless surface. The bar of soaps resulting motion will be?

a) None, the soap must be pushed with a force > mg : 50 Newtons to be set in motion.

b) Will experience constant acceleration as long as the person keeps pushing.

c) Accelerate for a few seconds and then reach a constant speed that will continue as long as it is pushed.

d) Cant say without knowing the persons weight.

From experience the bar of soap will slide off the table, fall to the floor and then slide its way under some cupboard or other.  Which means that dripping with water I have to get out of the shower.  Down on my hands and knees and try to recover the blasted soap.
