Why can’t some parents seem to ask their child’s consent for a ride the child doesn’t even want to go on?

And they’re too scared to go on the ride (example tower of terror) and the parent won’t even ask if they want to go on it. Why are some parents like this?

Because children aren’t at the legal age of consent.  Not to mention consent is such a stipid thing, kills passion and romance. Where would i be if i had to ask my wife if i could hold her hand before i did it.  I mean imagine that.  “Can i hold your hand?”  What am i?  6 years old?

I don't know any parents like that.

Most of us wouldn't be at the amusement park at all if the kids hadn't BEGGED us to take them.
