Scotch Whiskey sat outside for a month?

Would it lose its alchohol ?

Or turn into everclear?

I kind of taste the plastic from the bottle.

Is it safe?

It's not as strong but I still feel its effects.

Update:

It was in a field, in a plastic bottle.

My backyard.

Booze should never be stored in plastic bottles. The alcohol reacts with the plastic.

If the bottle was closed, it's unlikely anything much would change with the bottom-of-the-barrel scotch that was in it. It was undrinkable before and it's undrinkable now.

Scotch in a plastic bottle? High end stuff, eh?

If you are drinking Scotch whiskey that's being sold in plastic bottles, then it's bottom of the range stuff. And very doubtful it will last long

    Don't you mean alcohol ?

No, it wouldn't become less alcoholic.
