Can a diet loaded with full-fat milk, red meat, eggs and protein powder work on a 5x5 strength training program for mass and strength?

    I've read that the extra protein required for working out is equivalent to a small tin of tuna per day. No doubt the protein powder manufacturers make a killing from selling unnecessary protein powder. Excess protein consumed is converted to fat. So I'd suggest seeing a dietician or doing a lot of googling and only relying on medical sources rather than uninformed opinions.
