Are there any modern examples of epic poetry?
Like Iliad and Beowulf or the Norse Sagas? Are there modern examples of epic poetry in the Indo-European style? Something that is written to be listened to while it is recited instead of reading it yourself?
@ Sir Caustic, by Indo-European style I mean this:
"...Sumerian poems derived their rhythm solely through constant repetition, with subtle variations between lines. Indo-European epic poetry, by contrast, usually places strong emphasis on the importance of line consistency and poetic meter."

@ Sir Caustic
I just have, that was very helpful of you.
