Learn Newton's three laws of Universal Dynamics.

Rule 1'  A body/mass/ particle will remain still or in uniform motion( straight line and same speed) unless acted upon by a force.

Rule 2'  Force is directly proportional to mass/acceleration.

Rule 3 ' To every force , there is a equal and opposite force.

So if you throw a stone in space , it will not not go on for ever, because a force (gravity) from other bodies is acting on it.

No. Because the stone will slowly disintegrate.

If you threw something from a spaceship in low Earth orbit then that object would take up a slightly different low Earth orbit.  Eventually it would slow down and plunge into the lower atmosphere due to friction with the very tenuous air that exists even hundreds of miles from the planet.

Just like on Earth, it will keep going until gravity grabs it and bends it towards the gravitational force. Here's the thing, you'll go flying in the other direction.

    Yes

And so will you only slower

From a random point in the Universe, a stone thrown is unlikely to ever hit anything, as long as the Universe keeps expanding.

Nope, unless there is a limit to our universe.

Space dust will slow it down.

It might pass by a star or other object and pick up a gravitational swing and pick up speed.

Might get captured by sun or planet.

Not FOREVER (there ARE particles in spaces, so there is friction, but nothing like on a planet), but for a very very long time.
