Why do some countries do better with the virus than other countries?

It's actually not about how some countries do better with the coronavirus than others in our case it's about how deaths are reported to be from the coronavirus. In the U.S. when a person dies if they EVER tested positive for the virus or if they test positive for the virus after death REGARDLESS of the REAL cause of death it's getting tallied as a "coronavirus death".
So say a person has stage 10 terminal cancer has only days to live and tests positive for coronavirus after death but NEVER had a symptom of being infected that death gets tallied as a coronavirus death!
George Floyd was tested positive for coronavirus 2 weeks before he died BUT his death was tallied as a coronavirus death even though he was able to resist arrest!
Even if a person HAD been infected and TOTALLY recovered BUT 2 months later has an auto accident that death STILL gets tallied as a coronavirus death!
Say a person is out in foul weather that also has or did have the coronavirus and got hit by lightning THAT death is tallied as a coronavirus death!
Our country is tallying coronavirus deaths like this for two possible reasons of trying to drive the death count up to insane levels to try and make Trump look as bad as possible and/or to make it look like our country is being DEVASTATED by the virus to the rest of the world. Personally I suspect it's being done by the LIEberal left demoCROOKS to make Trump look as bad as possible before the election and IF Harris/Biden win they will change the way they tally the deaths so ONLY those that REALLY die from a CURRENT and ACTIVE coronavirus infection are tallied as a coronavirus death and if there was ANY other underlying conditions those are blamed FIRST to protect Harris/Biden/Pelosi!

Some countries have more "my personal freedom" and "the virus is a hoax, so I will not social distance and will not wear a mask" idiots.
If you add that some of the worse ones are led by fascists (Trump, Putin, Bolsonaro, Johnson), you make it a lot harder to deal with a virus. And people end up paying with their life.

A lot of it has to do with population density. The more dense the population, the easier it is for the virus to spread. Look at the top states with the most infections. They’re all highly dense.
Some countries went into lockdown as soon as the WHO said it was a pandemic while others didn’t think it was that big of a deal, that it’ll go away like a miracle.
Most Asians are used to wearing masks as soon as they’re sick to prevent infecting others so they were wearing masks as soon as they started showing symptoms and when it was declared a pandemic, everyone was wearing masks. Everyone did as they were told. No one complained or refuse to wear masks. It wasn’t an option.
Some countries were better prepared. The US didn’t have enough masks for everyone so the CDC said to use bandana or t-shirts as face coverings (they’re not that great since cotton are quite porous). The CDC said to not buy surgical masks so there would be enough for essential workers (nurses, doctors, grocery workers).
Incompetent leaders. Bosanaro,Redfield, and the country of Sweden thinks that herd immunity is the way to go but it takes at least 60-75% of the population to be infected. In the US, that would be 200 million people. With a 3% fatality rate, that’s 6 million deaths.

South Korea requires travelers to load a government tracking app on their phones.... the state authorities can call you randomly through the day to verify your location, and if you do not answer you may be subject to fines and even arrest...
New Zealand has basically walled itself off...mail, packages, freight and even food shipments from outside the country may be held indefinitely by state authorities for inspection and "sanitizing"...
Australia limits personal travel to a 10 mile circle around your home and 2-3 hours maximum per day....and they just reinstated the 9pm to 6am curfew over an "outbreak" of 15 new cases.... a violation of any of these restrictions results in a $4,000 fine...
Germany halted virtually all travel from Asia, Africa and the Middle East....
How many of these things would have been accepted gladly here in the USA? What would the people calling New Zealand's Jacinda Ahern a "hero" call Trump if he attempted to enforce even 50% of her policies?

Many don’t gather in groups to burn and loot their own communities with their democrat “leader”’s blessing.

Some countries have natural advantages, like New Zealand which can close off travel to and from the island. Some have citizens that actually give a s*it about each other. Others have competent leadership.
