is this a good character name. Castillo Armando?

    Character name, no. It's a name for a Castle not a person. You can use Armando for a character name but the Castillo's a fortress. Armando the person could be named after the Armando family which built the fortress.

    I assume that you know that, in Spanish, 'double LL' is pronounced like 'y'.  Thus he is 'cass-tee-yo' - certainly a very Spanish-sounding name.   

    I have a feeling that Armando is a first name, not a surname (last name).
