Why have the Dallas Cowboys sucked so bad since the mid 1990s?

Because the players spent all their time chasing their cheerleaders, not playing football.

Because of who bought them in 1989 and the amount of time it took to drag them down.

Source(s): - Raiders fan, so I know about terrible owners.

Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson built a winning team that won a couple of Super Bowls.  Then, Jerry decided that he was a genius, and got rid of Jimmy Johnson. They did manage to win one more Super Bowl, but it was all downhill from there.

They had Aikman, Emmitt and Irvin, it’s hard to find one player that good at one position, let alone put it together.

Mostly likely, because no more Roger Staubachs or Troy Aikmans have arrived on the scene since then.

They have become the Joe Biden of the NFL: Cowardly, useless, liars, and corrupt.

Romo & Prescott were above average QBs,but they are no Staubach,& Aikman..

(I think Prescott has played his last game as a Cowboy..He’ll want too much money.)

I think Dak may be a Raider next season.
