    175/250 = x/1

    250x =175

    x = 175/250

    x = 25 x 7 / 25 x 10

    x = 7 /10

    x= 70%

    The percentage of the rooms that are occupied is 70%.

    (175/250)(100) %

    175 x 100 / 250

    Cancel down by '25'

    7 x 100 / 10

    Cancel down by '10'

    7 x 10 / 1  =

    7 x 10 = 70%
