What if you told Neil Degrass Tyson the prophet Isaiah said God stretches the Heavens a 1000 years before Einstein?
If God stretches the heavens it explains inflation

He's probably laugh (I know I would) and say something like "so, Isaiah lived in 940 AD?"

What would the purpose of that actually achieve?

He would roll his eyes and then laugh in your face
- RichardLv 61 month ago
Why would I tell him that?

If you can manage to avoid insulting him by getting his name right, why not ask him yourself? He's quite alive.

I'm not sure why you assume he doesn't know that verse. But if you look at the rest of it, it makes a parallel between stretching the Earth and the Heavens out, which I suspect is comparing it to pitching a tent. It has nothing to do with the fact that space expands, and in any case God knows space expands. I don't know NDGT's religious views.

Tyson might reply that he believes in stretched heavens and talking snakes. And by the way, what do you have against Neil No-Lawn Tyson?

God works in Mysterious Ways
But Neil would tell yo to go boil your head in a BucketSource(s): Everything is better with a Bag of Weed

Isaiah was still alive in the 11th century ?

Like the rest of us he would say
and just like that, your argument is destroyed.
