They blend in better as the general population doesn't look much better.

Where else can approximately 20,000 people (the population of a small city) use the streets and sidewalks as a toilet and watch it as it runs off into the ocean? All in a state with the most strict environmental laws with complete impunity. Could you imagine if, say...Atlantic City NJ was dumping all of their raw sewage directly into the ocean? Would Nancy Pelosi or Kamala Harris just shrug their shoulders and say "Oh well?" When was the last time you heard an environmentalist say anything about SF and where all that raw sewage was going? Well, that's what makes them "special".

They are not more unique. They are just like any other without housing. Many struggle to get into housing, there are many that don't care enough to do so.

There is a severe lack of housing capacity in California. Rent costs is also out-of-control. It is unlikely this will change in the near future.

    False premise.

Your post has no relevance to SF or travel.

Because they are told by politicians how important they are and how much they are owed by society.   All they while the people paying taxes have to step over human crap on the sidewalk on their way to work to support all the tax payer funded programs that piss away a fortune on these sub species disgrace.   Remember when the mentally ill used to be institutionalized and helped and we could honestly refer to the refuse on the street as bums and low lifes?  If we go back to that the bums will not feel as entitled to screw up our once great cities and demand services from you, a hard working taxpayer

Speaking from the direct experience of living on the edge all over the western United States back in my younger days. They aren't. They are just people.

Put down the faux noise and walk slowly away.......

So MANY sock puppets. Here we have a man with time on his hands.

Something is either unique or it isn't. More unique is a misnomer.

Californian Homeless people: They like to piss on your property and leave cigarettes and open needles laying around.

Other homeless people: Actually use their money on things they need and are actually deserving of the money given to them.
