What's with meteors about 4 meters lighting up the sky recently? Are they part of this months meteor showers or are they unrelated. We safe?

Some sporadic meteors occur throughout the year, average 4 to 8 per hour. We have the fairly impressive Orionid shower, which peaks a week from now, and a couple minor showers. No known shower has ever produced a meteorite, as apparently shower members are all small and burn up before reaching Earth's surface.
Injuries and fatalities from meteorites are exceedingly rare, perhaps twice per century. Far more likely to be hit by a car.

More like 4 MM. A 4 meter meteor could survive entry to impact earth.
It does happen though usually impacting harmlessly in the seas.
Been decades since anybody was struck by a meteorite so yea, you are quite safe.
