Is COVID19 real or not real In Europe? ?

Because the president of my country, the United States,  openly admitted not to take any precautions at all

He already went into a bullet proof chemical proofed vehicle fully infected with no mask on, and entered the White House with no mask on...

And said it is a joke , so then why did Europe get so uptight over it? I’m confused 

So people I know who were taking precautions now won’t be anymore, they plan to go live life same as last February starting tomorrow ....  and they plan to travel abroad

Just because the President is an idiot who knowingly puts other people's lives in danger doesn't mean that the virus isn't real. It exists in all regions of the world. Some countries have been better at managing it than others.
