This is a very deep question!!!

I love it, But, it can't be answered within the limits of Yahoo...

    Topics to ponder are:

What Is God’s Purpose for Humans?

Where Do We Go When We Die?

    Will There Be a Resurrection?

    for detailed answers go here:

In regards to those specific individuals you mentioned, they lived before Jesus instituted the NEW Covenant:

Although they will receive a Resurrection, it will be on earth. -

PSALM 37:29 The righteous will possess the earth,

And they will live forever on it.

2 Kings 2:11 KJV — And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

Jesus spoke to Moses and Elijah atop the Mount of Transfiguration.

Matthew 17:1-3 KJV — And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

NO, where did you get such ideas? Each Prophet of God, peace and blessings of God be upon them all, will be honored by God and they are honored even in death and they entered the Paradises. They wait for no one except God. God gave them Paradise, mercy and God gave them ranks, statuses and rewards. What makes you say that?

None of those men ever went to heaven.  They do not qualify for heavenly life because they were never anointed by holy spirit to be co-rulers with Christ in the Kingdom of God.  However, by means of the future resurrection to life on earth restored to paradise conditions, they and millions of others will have the privilege of living under the rule of that Kingdom with everlasting life.

(Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”(Psalm 37:29) The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.

The fact of the matter: God The Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior saved them from before the foundation of the world, read Ephesians 1:1-5, read John 1:12, read Romans 8:28, read Acts 13:48, read 1 Corinthians 1:21, read 1 Peter 1:2, read 1 Peter 1:20, read Revelation 13:8, read Revelation 17:8 once God saves us we go into heaven like the thief on the cross, now are body will be saved on the last day, because it is still unsaved, but our soul it goes straight into heaven which is called paradise when Jesus said to the thief on the cross today you will be with me in paradise,  that is heaven. same with all of the saved of the world, we are only waiting for God's judgment on mankind so God will save our bodies and then our corruptible bodies will become incorruptible once God saves our bodies and then we will be like God. That is why we have to wait until the last day to fully become saved body souls and spirit.

I don't think anyone is in heaven until after the judgment.  They probably are in a waiting place right now called "Paradise".

Heaven could not be opened up to humans until after Jesus returned there to present the perfect sacrifice for sin to the Father. That's what was represented by the massively tall, thick tapestry curtain in the Temple being rent from top to bottom at the point when Jesus died. The way into the Most Holy place (the presence of God) was then opened. The spirits of the people of faith prior to then had to wait in what you might call Heaven's precincts, or ante-rooms, but they could not get into the Most Holy - God's presence.
