Is it ok for a 2007 Chevy Silverado 4.8L transmission to get to 210degrees F?

Today was a hot day here in Cali about 110degrees F, when I was driving home after work I noticed my transmission temperature reached 210degrees F. Should I be worried or would that be ok simply because it was very hot out. Thank you.

If there was a problem with the transmission temperature, the information display would indicate it and the vehicle would go into "limp mode". I live in Phoenix, where it's very hot for 4-5 months of the year. I don't even look at the transmission temp.
