I got ice cream come from a shop and it was melting very quickly and not super cold - could I get sick from it?

    No, you would only get sick if it melted and was kept at room temperature for a few days.

    Yes but that wouldn't be the reason. Melting quickly can be a sign of multiple things including how hot it was outside, how well the ice cream was made, etc. The fact that it wasn't super cold should give you more questions about the restaurant than the ice cream itself. At the ice cream wasn't super cold is not an issue. That the place isn't maintaining their equipment would be the actual issue.

    no. melted ice cream is just milk with sugar and flavors added. Even if it warms up to room temperature, it will take hours before is spoils.
