My OTC yeast infection treatment doesnt burn? Normal? ?

My first ever what I assume is a yeast infection. I was nervous to use my otc treatment which is miconazole and reviews said it would burn and itch bad after an hour but it's been over an hour and no burning or itching at all?? It avtually feels a bit better. Is this normal? Is it supposed to hurt and burn after inserting in vagina?

I think it's the vaginal ointments that can burn. There's one called tioconazole-1 thats an ointment. Creams are water based, so they feel cooler. Ointments are oil based.

The cream itself that carries the medication is quite soothing.

Any burning and itching is generally caused by the infection.

Doesn’t have too, only if you are inflammed
