My bp is 143 over 90 is that bad?

    It is slightly high.  If you are constantly getting readings in that range, then it should be mentioned to your doctor.  If it is a one time thing - then it might be just because of a stress (either physical or emotional) that was happening at the time you took that reading.

    It is not dangerously high and is not an immediate health concern.  Over long periods of time, elevated blood pressure can increase the risks for stroke or other heart related problems.

    120/80 is ideal. Yours is modestly high. If its high every day, ask for medication. You can also exercise more.

    It's a little high. Mention it to your doctor soon. They have very good meds for it now.

    It is a bit high.  Not terribly so, but, it can indicate a problem might be there, e.g., clogged arteries.  It is worth having it checked for sure.

    It’s of concern. 120/80 is considered normal. 143/90 is considered slightly high.
