Which sentence is correct?

A. The newspaper doesn't say whether the restaurant is open now.

B. The newspaper doesn't say anything about whether the restaurant is open now.

    Both are correct grammatically.  Form B is longer, thus less likely in speech.

    They're both correct.  The second one is just long-winded.

    They are both perfectly correct. You can use either of them freely.
