How to learn a new language?

So I’ve been super board recently and I’ve thought why not learn a new language. So how do I go about it.

I was thinking about Farsi (Persian) is it true it’s easier than Arabic ?

    board--> bored

    For native speakers of English, Farsi is not THAT much easier than Arabic. If you've never learned a language before (which your question implies), you should learn an easier one first.

    Easiest by far would be Esperanto. You can learn it on duolingo or on

    Next in line are Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan, French, Romanian, Afrikaans, Dutch, Danish, Frisian, Norwegian and Swedish.

    If you can, take classes from a good teacher. Once you have the basics, you can do a lot by yourself: watching movies/TV with good subtitles, reading books with the help of a good dictionary, listening to spoken radio or spoken books, couchsurfing

    If you've been super "board" you should work on learning English.
