Mohammad was not a god and could not do miracles.

"So he himself spoke against such , saying 'I'm just a man."

Muslims see him ( while he was on Earth) as the " perfect man and perfect Muslim" but to say he could actually split the Moon is blasphemy. if you said he asked/prayed to Allah to do it or requested to Allah through an Angel it that's fine, but you are not saying that are you ?

Anyone who has actually been fortunate enough to witness visions given by God will tell you that for God such things are easy and visions of this kind can be given in an instant to one, several or even thousands+.

There is also the possibility that this was a physical phenomenon since Almighty God is just that  ..... omnipotent.

The Prophet Muhammad (saw) would be amongst the very first to acknowledge that this was not fashioned by His hand but by Allah (swt) Himself so you should not attribute such things to any mortal even if they are a Prophet of The Most High.

You may call this a collective hysterical hallucination if you wish but you would be quite wrong.

Allah performed the magic trick which of course is as ridiculous as the magical resurrection of the Magic Jeebus Man.
