I keep thinking I have cancer but I don't. How do I stop being obsessed on cancer risks?

    If you're prone to obsessive worry, you can either talk to a psychiatrist familiar with psychopharmacology (there are drugs that can help), or you can choose something less scary than cancer to obsess about.  Each time you realize you are thinking about cancer, you simply substitute a different worry, like whether your car will refuse to start.  Your mind will fight back and try to resume worrying about cancer, but if you keep suggesting the new worry-subject, it will eventually (over days or weeks) switch to it, and abandon cancer.
