Am I able to use the gloves I've been buying for work during the pandemic as a tax write off?

I've been buying gloves since the pandemic started for work. At first, my job didn't have enough gloves for everyone or they didn't have the correct size. I also thought I was allergic to the work gloves, so I've been buying my own from Amazon.  Will I be able to write the gloves off as work expenses or something when tax season comes around?

Prob not unless you can prove you were allergic. And the fact that they were providing gloves. Did you speak to your work about this? Or about getting a different type/sizes? Could all go against you.
