Why will most people end up in hell? Isn't that unfair since the vast majority are good?

None of us are good, we are all sinners.  And everybody can easily avoid hell by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Here is the truth: The Lord Jesus Christ is God. Nobody can be good enough to avoid hell. The truth is that death leads to immediate heaven or hell, depending only on whether the person believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, or not. The truth is that the Lord Jesus Christ loves you and wants to bless your life freely :) Most of all, Jesus wants you with Him forever, and not in hell. It is too late to be saved, after death.

    .

Believing on the Lord Jesus Christ means being forgiven all sins past and future and means going to heaven. The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that the Lord Jesus Christ is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus was buried, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing on Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven

The Bible tells us that "hell", sheol, hades,  means the grave of mankind.

The Bible does not teach the religious lies of immortal soul and eternal torment in hell. It teaches that God is love.

Many people will end up in hell because they prefer to depend on their own efforts at being "good" than to humbly ask God for His free pardon for their sins. What's unfair about God doing all that we could not do to provide escape for the punishment our sins deserve? What's unfair about God warning us of the folly of depending on ourselves and our own opinions / standards when He has shown that nothing we can do will avert due justice. After all, nobody does the good that they ought to do all the time, nor is there any reward in doing what you ought to do. God judges sins of omission equally as He does sins of commission.

WHEN WILL DEATH BE CONQURED?  Today, in fulfillment of Bible prophecy, we live in "critical times hared to deal with," proving that we live in the last days" of this evil system of things. ( 2Timoythy 3:1) The last days will culminate in "the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly people ." (2 Peter 3:3,7) But people who love Jehovah God will survive that destruction and be blessed with "everlasting life".- Matthew 25:46. Millions of others will have the opportunity of gaining everlasting life when they are resurrected . Jesus performed a resurrection when he visited the city of Nain. The only son of a widow had died,  and Jesus, "moved with pity," raised him to life again. ( Luke 7:11-15) Also, the apostle Paul said: "I have hope toward God... that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." This solid hope is extraordinary demonstration of God's love for mankind.- Acts 24:15. Billions can look forward to living forever. The Bible says: "The righteous will posses the earth, and they will live forever on it." ( Psalm 37:29)  At that time, they will personally experience the stirring yet comforting words that the apostle Paul wrote  some 2,000 years ago: "Death  where is your victory? Death, where is your sting? ( 1 Corinthians 15:55) Mankind's  formidable enemy death will have been conquered!.  For more information JW.ORG

Geneses 6:5. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

By what standard do you use to determine most people are good? The Bible states that "there are none good, no not one."

You are what you think moreso than what you do. Ever have an "evil" thought? Ever hate someone? Ever tempted to commit a sexual sin, indulging yourself outside of marriage? Shall I continue?

People go to hell only to be purified of their sins.  Jesus Christ clearly teaches that he shall reward us according to our works, not our beliefs, much less on some whim of God's.

But hell is never forever.  Rev. 20:12-14 shows that death and hell must both be emptied and destroyed so that the resurrections and final judgment can take place.  There is only finite punishment for finite sin.  God's love, justice, and mercy are all intact; the vast majority of his human children shall be happier than they thought possible through eternity.
