Do you think this virtual learning period is bad for juniors in college?

Junior year is usually when you start taking mostly classes for your major.

It depends a lot on your major. For science majors, who really need labs for all their sciences, this is bad news since it is quite rare a high school or college student builds their own science lab in the basement (I have personally known two!). For some others, it can be a boon - and a huge savings in costs, time, etc. - to be able to study online from home. There's no "one size fits all" system, or answer.

Regardless of ones year in college, I personally feel in-class is generally much more conducive to learning than online.  Unhappily, for many the health crisis has left online as the only available method of instruction.
