What happens if I don't let universal credit know about student finance?

I will be receiving student loan (repayable) from next month, does anyone know if it would affect my universal credit or if should even let them know?

If you don't report any change in circumstances, then you are commiting benefit fraud and the govt takes a very dim view of that.

Let them know any change, even if they tell you it won't affect your money, because at some point they will find out. Better safe than sorry!

they already know. student loans are on your credit report, whether you've given your permission or not. it's a debt, so it's there.
