Please help out with a physics question!?

I have to create a circuit that lights up two lightbulbs. The battery must be 12V. The lightbulbs must have a resistance of 10 Ohms, and a power output of 0.5-1.0 watts each. I can use as many resistors/wires as I want.

Please help me out!!! I am so confused

Now you need 0.5 W each. That means you need current=0.5/12=0.04A.  to get 0.04 A, you need total resistance=12/0.04=300 ohms. there are two bulbs 20 ohms. you need to connect 280 ohms in series.
