    heptane + Oxygen ➜ Carbon Dioxide + water

    balanced equation is:

    C₇H₁₆ + 11 O₂ → 7 CO₂ + 8 H₂O

    11 molecules of O₂ combine with 1 molecule of C₇H₁₆
