It is harder to not believe in one then to believe and worship a God.

harder in which way?  It is exceedingly easy to fantasize that there is no God.  It is difficult to obey God, keep his commandments, and do good to other people.

Belief requires faith..and it's hard work pushing your faith to the point where you can believe that a mythical god is actually real

  • I can tell you which was harder for me.

Belief and worship for me was impossible.  I sincerely tried but never found any reason to either believe or worship.  "Worship became so routine,  boring and pointless that I couldn't find any reason to keep doing it.  I couldn't figure out why a god that already had all the glory would need to be more glorified, and it felt silly.

    So I quit.

Yet I remain open if a god ever wants to contact me.
