While extracting my wisdom tooth, my dentist warned that if I move my head, it may damage my throat/cheek?

Is that true? Do you think the tooth removal machine could even punch a hole in the back of my throat if it slipped off of my tooth while he applied pressure on it?

Your doctor is referring to muscle strain to the mandible in your jaw while your mouth is open if you should happen to move while there is pressure being applied to your jaw it's going to severely bruised the cartilage in your jaw socket and you're going to have one heck of a time opening and closing your mouth for the next 3 weeks it'll feel like somebody bashed you in the jaw
