What's wrong with my bathroom faucet on the sink? Today it started to constantly drop water every 5 seconds? ?

It has 2 handles and a spout where the water falls out of.

the valve needs to be repacked, or the washer inside it replaced, or something similar.  fine job for a handyman ... not serious enough for a plumber's high prices  -- grampa

A washer has worn out.  Replace it.  It's easy to do.

If you leave it too long, it'll wear out the valve seat, and that's a bit more effort.

Whatever little bit is worn and needs to be replaced, you obviously can't do it . . . . call a handyman.

It sounds like the faucet needs a new washer.

Calcium sometimes builds up around washers and seals, simply remove and clean those parts.

Ethier the washers needs to be replaced or the cartridges.
