Is there any way to stop having your period forever?

Preferably without having to constantly take medication. I don’t want to have kids so I don’t see a reason why I should continue having it. If I ever decide I want a kid, I will adopt. I’m only 18 but I don’t want to deal with it any longer. I’ve been miserable with it ever since I got it.

A hysterectomy would stop them but it is major surgery that will need at least 6 weeks recovery.

Because of the risks involved in the surgery, it would be unethical for a doctor to perform it on someone without a valid health reason.

Switch to the ring. Just don't take it out for the 7 day "break". I didn't have a period for over 10 years using the ring.

Yeah, but it requires you to swallow "the pill" every day of your life until you hit menopause.
