What body language is when you hold your wrist with your other hand in front of you?

Does this mean anything? It was for posing for a picture. His hands were in front of him holding his wrist with his other hand. Does this have any kind of body language meaning or is it just some way people pose for pictures? No one else in the picture was doing it. Is it a sign of nerves or something? I’m just curious. Body language kind of fascinates me.

One part of public speaking and such things - public appearance of all kinds - is what do you do with your hands? Not always so easy, if you think about it. The guy in your picture just found something to do with his hands, that's all.

This is pretty common, as it is easy.  How else would you hold your hands in front of you? It doesn't mean anything.

First and foremost the interpretation of body language is culture dependent.

There is not a general explanation at this, since it depends on people individually. Body language is not accurate.
