How many people tested outside of the E.R. test negative for Covid?

I got a Covid test a month ago after being convinced I had it a month before, it was hard to find a doctor who did it, but I had to get a new doctor for health related reasons and he felt I should have one and did it for me in his office. It came back negative, and I am wondering if the number of people who do it through the doctors office who have Covid is low, is there any information on this?

Not exactly because we dont report negatives here is CA, but the public health dept says we are currently at about a rough 3% positive rate, But again, not everyone who should gets tested, many who should not get tested and there are false negatives as well.
