baby turtle shedding or something wrong?

I just noticed these little spots under neath my turtle, he/she is about three or four months old and i haven’t noticed a shed yet and I’m not sure how old they are when they do shed but I’m nervous it’s a fungus or something else besides shed, it’s not fuzzy or anything just looks like it’s flaking off?

Is the peeling only on the plastron (bottom shell) with no signs of shedding on the carapace (top shell)?

During a normal shed, each whole scute generally comes off intact rather than in small pieces.  Your photo shows a chipped piece and a small hole in a couple of the plastral scutes.  This may sometimes be caused by contact with rough rocks or other sharp items.  Check your turtle's tank to see if there is anything in it that might be causing damage to your turtle's shell.
