I want to be an ancient Greek?

Hello   in ancient greece (Athens not Sparta) you could live your life freely and hang out in the market trading ideas and stories. Why don't we do this anymore? Is there a place like this? Im tired of the modern world - people dont care about conversations or each other

When I lived in Italy, people would hang out in the piazzas conversing during the weekly market and Sunday morning, but they still had jobs and responsibilities.

The Coffee Shop?

A friend of mine in Russia and I hang out in his or my garage and exchange stories or jokes, speak about life, girls, and have a drink of vodka, Champagne, beer, cod liver snacks or pork fat (сало)etc. And relax. The market is 6 blocks away and closed after 4pm. Teenagers hang out in cafes, KFC, near the grocery stores, etc. We take time in Russia to hang out. Used to in USA we hung out at the mall. But you can't be so free at the mall.

Obviously you can't go to ancient Greece, as time travel isn't currently possible. 

Find a group of friends you can have this kind of conversation with.
