Syllacrostics?

How to solve Syllacrostics:

Fill in the answers to the clues by using all the syllables in the Syllabox. The number of syllables to be used in each answer is shown in parentheses. The number of letters in each answer word is indicated by the blank spaces. Each syllable will be used once. When the words are correctly filled in, their first and last letters, reading down, will reveal an epigram preceded by its author’s name.
