Is it normal for PC to turn off and on ? ?

When ever i plug my pc in , it gets like a electrical wake up and it turns on for a split second then turns off and i turn it on normally after , other than that there's no problem for the rest of the day , is that normal ?

    It's normal. It's common for computers to have a setting to turn themselves back on after power failure, and completely unplugging it and plugging it back in is basically the same thing. The computer turns on so it can check that setting -- if it's enabled then it keeps booting and if it's off then it turns itself back off like you're seeing.

    The power cord is totally unplugged

    Such activity would indicate that you didn't shut the machine off. 

    Instead, it is "sleeping" or "hibernating".  


    There is no reason to be concerned about it.
