Is it true that 80 percent of stocks are owned by less than 10 percent of share holders? are these CEOS maybe?

CEOS buy their own companies stocks?  if this is true. that means they can manipulate the stock market just like a casino can manipulate the odds against any new investors (or the rest of the 20 percent of stock prices. and 90 percent of investors money. is this correct? how long has been this way? WHY, WHEN ALLOWED FOR COMPANIES TO BUY & SELL THEIR OWN STOCKS?

Certainly a good chunk of it is true. And Board Members get even more with stock options.

Sometimes it is a good thing to see that many board members Have their companies stock, and do not sell it. It means they have confidence in those companies.
