translation of "trinkt wie eure väter aus stein den wein"?
- ElzbietaLv 51 month ago
Richard is almost right. It's not "our", it's "your".
Literally: "Drink, like your fathers, from stone the wine."
This is a "Stein" -->

Drink wine like our fathers from a stein. ["Stein" is German for a type of ceramic tankard.]

drink the wine from (a) stone like your fathers did
yeah, it's kind of weird
Elzbieta's answer makes sense. I've never heard the word "tankard"Source(s): dutch/NL
