Why Kamala Harris cannot be President?

It is a legal question that the courts should have settled long ago. The legal issue is that a minor has no rights except through the parents. That is why a woman can abort a baby and not commit murder. So, if the parents are not US citizens how can the baby born on US soil receive US citizenship? It cannot. The baby is the citizen of the country of the parents. When the parents become citizens of the US, the kid automatically becomes a citizen. If the kid is an adult, the US citizenship is not granted automatically, and he must obtain it as an adult. Now, the President has a unique problem, and it is in the Constitution. It requires the President to be natural born, which means of American parents and raised like an American. Kamala Harris' problem is that her parents were not citizens when she was born, but she was born in Oakland. She is an American citizen through her parents because her parents became a citizen when she was a child. But, she cannot be President because her parents were not American citizens at the time of her birth. To confer the "natural born" requirement.   Let's say that her parents left the USA and returned to India and KH was raised in India. Would you say she is an American citizen because she was born in the USA. No. Nor can she be President because the Constitution prohibits it.

The 14th Amendment “settled” the issue decades ago. In order to take it to court, you have to be able to prove that you are an “injured party”. The requirement for “natural born” is to have one or more parent who is a citizen of “good standing” and resided in America for at least 7 years or born within the boundaries of the USA, until such time as the 14th amendment is repealed.

Jeff, please furnish the Amendment.  You left out the part about "not subject to any foreign power" which means citizens of other countries.  KH parents were citizens of other countries.  The wording in the amendment was to give slaves citizenship as opposed to non-slave people from other countries.  For example a British diplomat in the USA had a kid.  The kid was British and no claim of US citizenship was made by the Constitution.  That is the same as KH parents.

Complete failure to ask a question.  In response to your long-winded rant I rebut with a long and thoughtful comment ..... horse poop.
