How to stop being scared?

When I'm about to fall asleep I wake right up scared, specially if I sleep on my sides and/or stomach. I don't want to keep sleeping on my back but I can't stop getting scared. I always scared to be honest, and people tell, I just don't know what to do. I'm a 26 year old male btw.

There's something about what you say here that makes me think you should get professional help. You say you're always scared. Some people have trouble getting to sleep because they worry when they go to bed, but you say you wake up, for no reason it seems, and that you're scared when you wake up.  It sounds like you're suffering from an anxiety disorder.

Some therapists have begun working on the phone. You can call your doctor and ask about this.

Legally, a therapist can work over the phone with anybody in the same state. Some insurance companies cover phone therapy. You can use the Psychology Today Find a Therapist feature to get a list of therapists in your state, find out who’s working by phone, and what kinds of problems they specialize in.

Learn to trust the Lord and give all your cares to Him.  If you have never asked Jesus Christ into your life as Lord and Savior, I urge you to do so.  Please read the New Testament for more information.  Start with the Gospel of John.  Also look up Philippians 4:6-8.  Pray.
