Does the fear of being cancelled deter people from pursuing creative careers?

    Wow are people really this unaware of cancel culture? The answerers are really stupid in this category of Yahoo 

    Anyway, I highly doubt there are people who  don’t pursue a particular career based on the possibility of being cancelled. If they did then they aren’t that committed in the first place. There are more realistic reasons to hold people back than that.

    Cancelling can definitely happen. I’ve seen debuts utterly derailed by feminists and social justice warriors jumping to conclusions. But there are way more cases where that doesn’t happen, so having a fear of it is illogical.

    It’s like crossing a road. I’m not scared to do so because other people have been hit by a car.
