The best city to relocate to is always the one where you can find a good job in your career sector. So look up some online job boards and see what's available for someone with your skill set.

Both are very expensive places to live. Seattle has a massive homeless problem and is rainy and overcast much of the year.. San Diego wins because it isn't run by liberal idiots and the weather is 100 times better.

    San Diego is better

The issue of course has to do with career and earnings. Both cities are expensive to live.

Climate and crime rate and things to do are better in San Diego.

Cost means nothing unless you have a job or income

San Diego has less heating and cooling needs of a home.

    San Diego has Balboa park.
