Why are fast food restaurants becoming so expensive?
- Anonymous1 month agoFavorite Answer
Inflation. Every so often, prices just go up. It takes lots of ingredients to fill a menu and if too many ingredient prices go up, the restaurant has no choice but to raise the menu prices. There's also the recent pandemic which some restaurants may use to test higher price points and or go for broke as they're probably going to go out of business anyhow so may as well go down in flames.

Because, they need more cash to pay there bills.

they're really not expensive if you compare them to other restaurants. I get a salad at another restaurant and it's 13 dollars just for a salad and a tiny bag of chips

Supply and demand for one, but also the need to pay employees more. Oh, I mustn't forget greed in this answer as well.
