2003 BMW 325i fuel not reading?

Is there a fuel relay or something I changed the fuel pump and the floater seem fine is there a fuse that powers the floater . Or could it be just the cluster needs to be replaced cause it's not reading correctly???

Ever heard of a digital multitester? Set it to 12 volts and see whether there is or isn't current from the sender. If there is variable volts when you move the float it's certain that the gauge in the dashboard is shot.

Chances are you messed up the fuel gauge sending unit while replacing the fuel pump. It's easy to bend the sweep arm on the rheostat so it doesn't contact the wiring.

Check for trouble codes with a scanner.  Could be a bad fuel quantity sensor or bad wiring to sensor.
