Is there a good chance of my child having blue eyes?

My boyfriend is blonde with blue eyes. I’m mixed race and I have dark brown eyes. 2 of my great grandparents have blue eyes. And that’s including one of my African American great grandparents. I believe my mom and her dad have hazel eyes.

Is there possibly a greater chance of my child having green eyes?

It is unlikely, since brown eyes are a dominant trait, but it is still possible.

Brown eyes are genetically dominate.   So there is almost no chance your child will be blue eyed.

Depends on whether or not you are carrying a recessive blue/green gene or not.  If so, it is 50/50.  If not it is zero -- your brown eye gene will dominate the blue from your partner.

If you inherited a recessive blue gene, there is a fifty percent chance. If you have no recessive blue genes, there is a zero percent chance.
