How exactly am I in the wrong here?

I went to the park a few days ago. Someone came up to me saying I don't have to wear a mask. I told him I will anyway. I started walking away. Then he grabbed my shirt. I then ran and suddenly stopped. He ended up going head first into a pole and knocking about 6 of his teeth out. Now he is suing me for physical harm. I was just trying to get away from him.

Update:

Note of you don't ear a mask I have no issue with that. I just do. I am overly cautious. I even go the speed limit which annoys people.

You can counter sue him, you know. He tried to get you to take off your mask, which is most likely against the law at the moment.

You aren't.  He has no lawsuit.
